The three components of our Uhambo Children’s Ministry at Grace include:

• First Look: Preschool
  (2–5 year olds)
• 252 Basics: Elementary
  (Kindergarten–4th grade)
• Club 56: 5th & 6th grade

Each part of the ministry is a step towards the next and builds on the teaching of the previous. Each part of the curriculum has a specific objective … a “Master Plan”.

The curriculum and strategy connects every set of age-group materials and resources to three key relationships: Wonder, Discovery, Passion.

Each of these key relationships has a different level of relevance to the stages of a child’s development. Imagine them as three dials working together.

There is a short window of time before your child becomes a teenager. It happens fast! So it’s really important to figure out what’s really important.

The truths that we teach should be unquestionable, undeniable, and reliable! We don’t have time to teach everything and we know we shouldn’t just teach anything.

That’s why we “teach less for more”. We want every child to grow up the same way Jesus did “in wisdom and stature, and favor with God and man”.
