Christian Parenting in Real Life

Dr. Ken Wilgus, a licensed Christian psychologist who has been working with parents, families and adolescents for 25 years, will share on how to parent as a Christian in real life. He will discuss the difference between Christian parents and “good” parents, the epidemic of isolation and a smattering of practical aspects of parenting today. The first part of his teachings will be woven into the sermon during the worship service of Grace, but the bulk of his presentation will be during the afternoon seminar. This is for anyone with children ages 5-18 years old.

Dr. Wilgus is author of “Feeding the Mouth that Bites You” and has taught on several occasions at Grace. You can learn more about him here.

This seminar is part of the DISCIPLE: Every Believer a Minister series that includes not only sermons January 1-21 but also discussion and teaching in Communities on Sunday mornings.
