Fasting

“One of the more underutilized spiritual rhythms that Disciples of Jesus have at our disposal is fasting.”

Pastor Robert gives us a devotional on fasting and its impact on our Spiritual lives.

Stories have been woven into humanity since the beginning of time to encourage, inspire and teach. How has God been teaching you during this time? How have you been encouraged or been able to encourage others? We would love to share your story!

New to Grace? We would love to meet you…digitally. Please complete our Guest Connect Card.

Updates

Conflict?

Have you been experiencing more relational tension and conflict these days? You are not alone! And it’s not completely unexpected with our current circumstances. The Lord can use all kinds of opportunities to disciple us. Robert Morris, the pastor of men’s ministry at Grace, asks how can we look at conflict as an opportunity to learn and become more like Christ in all of life?

What’s the Least You Can Do?

With all the pressure to make the most of our time while we stay at home, whether you are at home with children trying to homeschool and juggle a job or live alone and are wrestling with isolation, take a moment to pause. What’s one thing that you can do during this time? One step in your relationship with Jesus? Not everything, just one thing.

G.K. Chesterton talks about how if something is worth doing, it’s worth doing poorly. Maybe think about the least and then add from there? You might just end up making the most of this time after all, and you can do so by taking it one step at a time.

P.S.
If you’re wondering why Matt has on a red bandana, check out his Red Bandana Day video.

How to Share Your Story

Kevin Maurice, Grace’s youth pastor, encourages us to pray for others, invite people to worship with us (virtually) on Easter and share our stories of faith.

“Always be prepared to give an answer to everyone who asks you to give the reason for the hope that you have. But do this with gentleness and respect”
—1 Peter 3:15

Who will you invite to Easter worship?

“This resurrection Sunday, I’m going to share a message from the Gospels in the context of the time that we’re living in… I’m going to bring you a message that talks about the certainty that we can have and the peace that we can have because of the resurrection of Jesus Christ.”
—Matt Cassidy, Senior Pastor

Will you join us and invite your friends to worship with us this Easter Sunday?
