Camp Tejas

Recharge and connect with the women of Grace through this impactful weekend of worship, teaching and community. More details coming soon!

Motherhood is a special gift in a woman’s life, full of joys and unique challenges that are dramatically boosted by the love and support of a group of friends and mentors, especially while mothering young children. We are proud to host several groups for moms of infants through fifth grade to provide fellowship, growth, and learning based on this life stage.

The MomCo

Formerly MOPs and MOMSNEXT

Learning and community for mothers of children in fifth grade and younger

At The MomCo, we create a space for you to connect with other moms in your life stage with speakers, fun activities, and small group discussions. Invited speakers teach from a biblical perspective on topics like marriage, parenting, and family, and smaller group discussions help you form and deepen friendships.

The MomCo Preschool offers childcare for children ages 6 weeks old through five years old (pre-kindergarten). Children under 6 weeks old may join mom at her table. The MomCo Elementary does not offer childcare.

Preschool: Newborn through 5 years old

Square One: A Ministry for New Moms

Coming Next Year! Tuesdays, 10 a.m. – noon

Children: newborns through 6 months old

Jan. 14 – Feb. 18

Being a first-time mom brings so many changes physically, emotionally and even spiritually. At Grace, we want to provide a place where you can bring your baby six months old and younger and connect with other moms and mentors to find friendship, acceptance, and encouragement. We will discuss topics such as parenting, baby care, family/in-laws, taking care of you and keeping your marriage healthy. Join us as we get to know each other and seek God’s guidance for this new phase of life. To find out more about Square One, please Email Claire.

Women’s Bible Studies

Women’s Bible Studies at Grace are intended to bring women together to grow in their knowledge of and love for God through His Word and to develop and deepen relationships with others. We are women who are learning to think biblically, but we also understand that knowledge alone is insufficient for maturity. Healthy relationships are crucial for transformation. Whether you’re currently in a WBS group or looking to find one, we welcome you!

Spring Bible Study

The Attributes of God

Wednesdays, Jan. 22 – April. 16 | AM or PM

Description

Morning (AM) Sessions: 9:45-11:45 a.m. | Evening (PM) Sessions: 6:30-8:15 p.m.

The late pastor and author AW Tozer wrote “What comes into our minds when we think about God is the most important thing about us.” Knowing God is foundational to the Christian life. Moment by moment, day by day, our view of God impacts the way we live, the choices we make, and what we prioritize. Our walk with God will not progress if we do not grow in our knowledge of God. Join us this spring as we come to know God better by studying His attributes. We offer Wednesday morning and Wednesday evening meeting times, with childcare offered in the morning and dinner in the evening.

Childcare is offered only at AM sessions. Dinner is offered at PM sessions.

Spiritual Disciplines

Putting Practices into Motion
Wednesdays, Jan. 22 – Feb. 26 | PM Only

Description

Evening (PM) Sessions Only: 6:30–8:15 p.m.

In today’s fast-paced world, focused on instant gratification, the practice of spiritual disciplines—submission, worship, simplicity, study, sacrifice, fasting, and meditation—seem counter-cultural. In this small group study, you’ll be invited to put these disciplines into practice, helping you to slow down and focus on God and who He is. As we practice these disciplines together, we’ll share our experiences, what we’re learning, provide and receive accountability, and encourage one another. Enrollment is limited to 14 women who are able to attend all 6 weeks as well as commit to faithfully doing the homework and disciplines each week. If that sounds like something you’re interested in, we encourage you to register soon. Together, we’ll discover how these disciplines can transform our lives, drawing us closer to God and to one another.

Dinner is provided.

Girlfriends at Grace

Tuesday, Feb. 25 | 7-9 p.m.
The Loft, Live Oak Building

God designed humans to be in relationship with Him and with others. Even secular psychology understands that we’re all born with the need to form emotional bonds with others, sometimes called attachment theory. But whoever or whatever we attach to here on earth is marked by sin and will never make us completely secure. Join us at our next Girlfriends at Grace, where we’ll talk about how early attachment experiences can shape our relationships and how our longing for security can ultimately be met in attaching to God, the only One who makes us completely secure. Register today and bring a friend!
