Why Membership?

Membership is a means of connecting believers into our local congregation. When you choose to become a member, we make a mutual, voluntary commitment to be used by God to minister to each other and through Grace to the city of Austin and the world.

Grace’s Membership Workshop provides an overview of Grace’s history, vision, practices, beliefs and expectations and it also includes time for you to share your faith story.

At the end of the workshop, you’ll be asked to sign Grace’s Doctrinal Statement and Covenant of Fellowship, indicating that you agree with what it says. Members are expected to walk daily in love and obedience to Christ, support the efforts of this local church by giving and participation, and strive to mature in a relationship with Jesus.
