Membership
Why Membership?
Church membership is a formal relationship between a church and a Christian characterized by the church’s affirmation and oversight of that Christian’s discipleship, providing the structure needed for spiritual growth, protection, and maturity. The Bible presents several reasons for local church membership. (Hebrews 13:17, 1 Corinthians 5:1-12, Acts 2:41-47, 1 Timothy 5:9-13, Romans 12, 1 Corinthians 12).
How do I become a Member?
- Attend Membership Class Part One (see “Upcoming Membership Classes” below for next scheduled class).
- After attending Part One, complete the Membership Application.
- Meet with a Pastor and/or Elder to share your story of faith.
- Attend Membership Class Part Two (typically two weeks after Part One).

Explore Grace Meet-ups:
If you’re new to Grace, we recommend starting with our Explore Grace meet-up, held the first Sunday of each month (with some exceptions) from 10:30-11 a.m. in The Cove. We’d love to meet you, tell you a little about Grace’s history and vision, and answer any questions you might have. No need to register – just come!
Our next Explore Grace meet-up is on Sunday, May 3 from 10:30–11 a.m. in the Cove (in the Worship Center, adjacent to the Family Room).
