Why Membership?

Church membership is a formal relationship between a church and a Christian characterized by the church’s affirmation and oversight of that Christian’s discipleship, providing the structure needed for spiritual growth, protection, and maturity. The Bible presents several reasons for local church membership. (Hebrews 13:17, 1 Corinthians 5:1-12, Acts 2:41-47, 1 Timothy 5:9-13, Romans 12, 1 Corinthians 12).

How do I become a Member?

First, Attend Membership Class, Part One.

After attending Part One, complete the Membership Application.

Next, meet with a Pastor and/or Elder to share your story of faith.

Finally, attend Membership Class Part Two (typically two weeks after Part One).
